Interactive PDF
In this Process and Production workshop, working with Adobe PDF, we learnt how to create and new and inventive way of displaying design work either for personal presentation or for future interviews etc.
We learnt to use the full effects of a PDF document and the different ways we can make it interactive for the user to implement. We incorporated buttons, audio files, video and buttons which all added to the user experience. The idea was to show us the basics for us to go away and create more unique and creative ideas with the software. I had no idea of the complexity of PDFs and it is definitely something I want to learn more about in the future.
This Process and Production really helped me to develop my skills in the PDF software. I did however feel I got lost near the end of the workshop and the final outcome couldn't be viewed completely. I will try and recreate another version of this, inputting my own work and my own ideas to make it a personal interactive PDF document. I also feel that this workshop could be relevant and have links with Studio work - displaying my sense of work place in a very edited fashion marketing PDF could put a unique editorial spin on the idea of how work is presented in the commercial world compared to the use of fashion magazines and websites. I will research further into this idea.
